If for any reason, it still isn’t working, shoot me through an email and I can help you troubleshoot the issue. Please make sure to include the action set you are having issues with and your correct email.
I love your actions, but how do I install them?
How to install your new action:
Method 1
Step 1 Move the downloaded action to your action folder. This is a folder you have created to keep all your downloaded actions easily accessible. This is also handy when you need to use another computer as you can copy this folder to a thumb drive and use the actions in Photoshop on another computer.
Step 2 Double click on the action that you want to use. This will load the action into Photoshop directly.
Method 2
Step 1 Follow Step 1 as detailed above.
Step 2 In you actions palette, on the top right hand side there is a little button with a fly out menu when its clicked, select the Load Actions… option. This will bring up a dialog box, where you can navigate to you custom action folder. Once in that folder, select the action you want to load and click the load button. Now your action is ready to be used on your image.
If for any reason, it still isn’t working, shoot me through an email and I can help you troubleshoot the issue. Please make sure to include the action set you are having issues with and your correct email.

Toy Camera Action Sets
Ok, I've installed your Toy Camera actions. Now how do I use them?
Open the image that you want to run the action on. In the actions palette select the action of your choice and press play. If your actions palette isn’t visible, go to Window>Actions, this will make it visible.
The Toy Camera actions are designed to be used in a particular order:
- Crop for Toy Camera (please choose the correct orientation for the image, either portrait or landscape)
- Any of the film actions (Lina’s 1968, Simple film or Kodat Grunge film)
- Any of the lens actions ( Johnny’s Lens, Kamahl II or Jamie)
How do I get a good result from the Kodat Grunge Action?
To enhance the grizzled look of this action, play around with the settings in the Displace dialogue box that pops up. Instead of leaving it at the default 10 for horizontal and vertical scale, try a value between 30 to 75 instead.
Movie Effect Action
The command 'diffuse glow', 'grain' not available.
Check that the image you are running the action on is 8 bit, not 16 bit. 16 bit does does limit the filter commands, so if you don’t need the extra bits, switch your colour space to 8 bit. The action will run faster and you will save on disk space.
If you really need the extra bits
then download the 16 bit movie effect action option from the movie effect action page.
